Q) How long will it take for me to get my report?

A) We offer a 24 hour business day turnaround time if you elect first available radiologist. Studies submitted on Friday will have a report by Monday. Studies submitted on the weekend will have a report by Tuesday. If you request a specific radiologist, turnaround time may be 48 to 72 hours.

Q) Do you charge more for prepurchase exams?

A) All our fees are based on the number of regions imaged. For example, radiographs of bilateral tarsi are two regions. There is not an additional fee for prepurchase examinations.

Q) Do you offer STAT reads?

A) While we do our best to accommodate requests for urgent studies or expedited reads, we do not offer an official STAT service because we cannot guarantee it. If you have a study that you would like read urgently, please email info@insideinformationradiology.com and/or contact support@purview.net and ask them to list the case as STAT and we will do our best to accommodate. Additional fees will apply.

Q) Do you accept jpeg images?

A) We strongly encourage you to submit studies directly to our server in a DICOM format. Emailed jpeg images or DICOM links will incur an additional image processing fee and may have a longer turnaround time.

Q) I submitted a study more than 24 hours ago but I still don’t have a report

A) Troubleshooting tips: 1) Did you enter and finalize study notes? All studies must have notes entered in order to be flagged to be read. 2) Check your spam. Especially if you have gmail, it tends to end up in your spam folder. If so, you can use this to help fix that problem: https://www.jotform.com/help/404-how-to-prevent-emails-from-landing-in-gmails-spam-folder/ 3)Log in directly to your account on Purview to see the status of your report 4) If none of these apply, please email info@insideinformationradiology.com to check on report status.

Q) I submitted an older study to be read out and haven’t gotten a report

A) We use a filter so that only studies less than 12 months old show up on our worklist. If you submit a study that is more than a year old, please email info@insideinformationradiology.com and let us know so that it does not get trapped in the filter

Q) I would like to submit images that were taken by a different practice. What should I do?

A) Upload the DICOM images to the II server, or forward the DICOM link if that’s what you have. You may not see it on the server since it will not be associated with your practice name. Then create a blank study with patient notes and list your practice name under the “institution” field box. That will allow you to access the study under your account, and we will use that to generate our report.

Q) I have information that I would like to share with the radiologists but I don’t want it to show in the report

A) Please enter any confidential information or private communications in the section “notes to radiologist” on the Purview website when you upload your study. The content of this box will not be included in the report.

Q) I am a horse owner and would like my horse’s images reviewed. Can you do that?

A) We are happy to help but we run all our reports through a veterinarian. Please have your veterinarian submit the images and clinical information and we will send them the report.
